No, even though often confused, Independent Celebrants are not connected to any faith so we are able to create ceremonies by blending alternative, religious content or any faith. Or not! The choice is yours, which is the brilliant thing about Independent Celebrants, there are no rules.

Unfortunately, Independent Celebrants in the UK are not able to perform ceremonies that are legally binding. But there are several options available for you, most couples register their marriage legally at the registry office a week or two before the wedding. Which means there are no rules, restrictions and you can have the ceremony you want.

Usually from 30-40 minutes, depending on what you want and if readings and/or symbolic elements are involved. We can discuss what feels right for you as a couple.

Basically anywhere! I will travel for up to 30 miles included in the price of the ceremony, futher from that there will be a travel cost.

First, I will offer to book you in for a complimentary enquiry call to see if I am the right vibe and fit for you as a couple, which is always important. If you decide I am the celebrant for you, I ask for a non refundable 25% booking fee to reserve the date. There's only one booking per day so once you have paid the booking fee that date is yours. I will also ask you to complete a service agreement to make sure that you are happy with the terms. Once you are booked in, we start to work together.
